GEORGE JURAND
President + CEO
George is a Co-Founder of the Mentoring Men’s Movement. He brings over thirty years of criminal justice experience to the fore. George is a retired Program Coordinator for the San Francisco Sheriff’s Department. During his tenure he was responsible for coordinating prisoner programs within the county jail, promoting and maintaining liaisons with community organizations and municipal departments.
FLOYD D. JOHNSON, M.S.
V.P. + Director of Operations
Floyd spent most of his boyhood and young adult life counseling youth at the Buchanan YMCA, under the mentorship of Director, Yori Wada. He is recently retired from the San Francisco Sheriff’s Department following over 28 years of dedicated service. During his tenure with the Sheriff's Department, he was assigned many roles. The last of which, before retirement, was Lead Coordinator for Men's Programs and Services. Floyd attended City College of San Francisco and San Francisco State University where he earned a Master’s in Education with an emphasis in counseling.
CLINTON SOCKWELL II
V.P. + Director of Education & Culture
Clint has worked with the S.F., Oakland, and Emery Unified School Districts since 1995. By partnering with the San Francisco Alliance of Black School Educators and the IRISE Initiative, he has inspired thousands of Bay Area youth to believe in themselves. His lessons are based on the concepts of the Virtues of Maat & the Nguzo Saba.
DR. MARTIN JONES
V.P. + Director of Community Re-entry
Dr. Jones began his career with the San Francisco Sheriff’s Department in 1972 alongside his father, Martin H. Jones. The duo was affectionately known as “Jones and Jones”. Together, they engaged in community outreach and supervised county parolees at 18th and Mission Street. During his career, he counseled and mentored thousands of incarcerated and previously incarcerated men and women.

Ben joined Mentoring Men's Movement with the vision and drive to improve upon our Non-Profit Organization, and focused on developing the organization with experience and integrity.
