THE ORGANIZATION

M3 is a 501(c)(3) organization established as a response to this question:  Where are the men?  We understood that far too many of our men are under the jurisdiction of the criminal justice system. They are either incarcerated or under the supervision of probation or parole.  Consequently, many of our communities suffer from a lack of positive role models and leadership.

George Jurand, Floyd D. Johnson, Dr. Martin Jones, and Clint Sockwell officially established M3 in 2011.  Under the leadership of Michael "Chappie" Grice, the founders and other members of the community gathered monthly for several years prior to the "Men's Breakfast". It is there that the foundation was laid for the Mentoring Men's Movement.
